it is time that people put aside this delusion that we could somehow vote or boycott our way back to a “christian america”. it has made me sick since i was in high school (the end of the nineties). we must “take up our cross (not flags) daily and follow Him”. our churches (not all) are filled with patriotic, social club elitists that for some reason have been able to read the bible for years and still trade what it says for a stronger sense of americanism. i respect my country but i have an allegiance to Christ alone.
